Howdy Folks,
This newsletter will be short, even though we have many irons in the
fire right now we can only brand one calf
at a time. Right now the rope is around the neck of the calf called
“The Greenhorn Shoot”.
The Greenhorn shoot will be held on May 17th and 18th. We will need
lots of help with this as we have multiple
tasks happening at the same time. We will still have lunch provided
and yours truly will still set up the old
chuck wagon to get the food started but, I will also be involved with
other duties so if I can get some help
around the chuck wagon it would be appreciated. LTC Nathan and Wogg
will be conducting RO1 and RO2
classes for club members. Bullet will be working with the youngsters
as he always does and such a good job he
does with that. We also have a host of other folks committed to do other
duties. We still could use more help
so please contact John Bear so he can put your name on a list to help.
This month we will be having the
meeting early due to the Greenhorn Shoot and I would encourage any one
who is interested to attend.
Remember we also have our two day shoot the Renegade on July 12th and
13th and the state shoot in August
from the 6th – 10th.
Also, Bullet has asked the board to consider the idea of a two day Wild
Bunch Shoot. The board has given him
the approval to move forward with this for next year. With all the movement
and interest in the Wild Bunch
style stages, an entire shoot would be big fun, watch this space for
more info.
